About NoSorry.org

NoSorry.org is the home of the No Need To Apologize movement. An effort by parents, for parents, to help girls to grow up to be more confident women.

Many parents and allies are getting involved now, but we we're led by three founding "NoSorry parents":

NoSorry parent Lisa, Masters in Education

NoSorry parent Jamie, Designer

NoSorry parent Justin, Webmaster

To join us, just say "No need to apologize" if your daughter apologizes for no reason.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you saying girls should never apologize?

No. There are times everyone will need to apologize, like when you hurt someone physically or emotionally.

We are concerned with girls constantly saying "sorry" for no reason, meaning just for having an opinion or existing. Our goal is a world where, through awareness and education, girls no longer feel compelled to say "sorry" for no reason and grow up to be more confident women.

For more information on the right and wrong times to say sorry, visit our Educational Resources page.

Is this only for parents of girls?

No. While the platform is designed for parents with daughters, anyone can join the movement. Boy parents, folks with no kids, teachers, and community leaders are all welcomed as NoSorry allies.

Where does the money go?
